Among the over 200 exhibitors that participated this year in the eleventh presentation of the major Hispanic Real Estate event, SIMA 09, IREA-AII executives at Sotheby’s International Realty’s stand, talked with Ms. Kristina Szekely:

I.A.S- Kristina, what difference can you see in people, this year against previous editions?

K.S- This year people wait in line to buy.

I.A.S- In what kind of properties do you notice there is more interest?

K.S- I see they are buying the first home, mostly. The majority is young people waiting for the big discounts offered, to be able to purchase their first home.

I.A.S- And about the properties you handle in Marbella?

K.S- We offer properties with excellent prices, with promotions from €500 000 and lower. Crisis has made us negotiate much more, this way customers can buy their home at a lower cost or a financed price.

I.A.S- What about foreigners in relation to the properties in Andalucía and Marbella?

K.S- The English seek properties in Costa del Sol, we offer discounts on Chalets and flats whish are the most attractive to them, but we have noticed since March this year, that the business has given a 360º turn and sales have raised.
